RESIDENTIAL LEAK DETECTION AGREEMENT

The leak locator’s responsibility is to find the major leak. Secondary leaks cannot be located until the first leak is repaired. There may be a charge for secondary leak detection and/or repair. The Leak Detection process can take up to 4 weeks depending on complexity of the leak. Fountains and water features are not included.
The leak detection DOES NOT include repair of piping, plumbing, air leaks, skimmer replacement, tile sealing and/or repairs, major holes or pump equipment repairs. A separate estimate will be needed for these repairs.
STEP 1 - Outside visual inspection and dye testing - Inside visual inspection and dye testing - Inspection of returns, main drain (plug, outer rim, mouth) - Inspection of skimmer (plug, upper threads, seams, mouth) - Inspection of vacuum port outlet - Inspection of light (niche, outer seal) - Grid search of inside pool vessel for cracks or holes - Inspection of tile - Epoxy patch any concerns found during step 1
STEP 2 (Optional depending on situation) - Prepare vessel for drop test (Test to see if pool will hold water) - Install temporary plugs as necessary or practical - Pressure test lines o Main drain, skimmer, return jets, vacuum port - Electronic Analysis of piping system
NOTE: i. Acceptable water loss after completion of repair/inspect is 1 inches per week. ii. AAA Leak Masters, Pool Leak Detection and Repair, Inc. is not responsible for replacing main drain covers, vacuum port outlets, return jet covers or piping broken during the leak detection. iii. The customer is responsible for keeping the pool clean and the water in a safe and healthy condition. iv. Customer is responsible for filling and/or empting of pool. v. Repairs made are for the purpose of stopping or slowing of the leak and not for esthetics. vi. Patch repairs are guaranteed for 90 days and pipe repairs are guaranteed for one year. vii. AAA Leak Masters, Pool Leak Detection and Repair, Inc. follows the Florida Lien Law.
